Rooptaz Sibia, M.D. | Board Certified Internal Medicine
Dr. Rooptaz Sibia is a Board Certified Physician of Internal Medicine and is a Managing Partner of Florida Healthcare Associates. He was born in Toronto and grew up in Miami. He received his Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Miami, where he graduated Cum Laude. He earned his Medical Degree at the University Of Miami Miller School of Medicine as a member of the Honor Program in Medical Education. He then completed his Internal Medicine Residency training at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami. He has worked in the Boynton Beach area for nearly twenty years. Dr. Sibia provides thorough care within a warm and supportive environment. Dr Sibia is not accepting new patients at this time.
Mitchell Lampert, M.D. | Board Certified Internal Medicine
Dr. Mitchell Lampert is a Board Certified Physician of Internal Medicine and is a Managing Partner of Florida Healthcare Associates. He attended Florida Atlantic University where he majored in Chemistry and Mathematics. He earned his Medical Degree at the University Of Miami Miller School of Medicine and then completed his Internal Medicine Residency training at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami. He has worked in the Boynton Beach area for nearly twenty years. Dr. Lampert practices primary care, with a focus on weight management and healthy living. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and running marathons. Dr Lampert is not accepting new patients at this time.
Alex Zopo, M.D. | Board Certified Internal Medicine
Dr. Alex Zopo is a Board Certified Physician of Internal Medicine. He was born in Bogota, Colombia and earned his Medical Degree at the Juan N. Corpas School of Medicine in Bogota. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency training at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami. He has worked in the Boynton Beach area for nearly fifteen years. Dr. Zopo also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor for the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Zopo practices primary care with a focus on diabetes care and weight loss management. Dr Zopo is bilingual and fluent in Spanish.
Christopher Hunt, M.D. | Board Certified Internal Medicine
Dr. Christopher Hunt was born in North Carolina, and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he graduated with Bachelors degrees in Chemistry and Biology. He went on to earn his Medical Degree at Chapel Hill, where he was a Board of Governors Medical Scholar. After completing medical school, he obtained his Internal Medical Internship and Residency training at the George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC. He was in private practice for several years in the metropolitan Washington DC area prior to moving to South Florida to join the team at Florida Healthcare Associates. Dr. Hunt is board certified in Internal Medicine.
Aaron Cohen, M.D. | Board Certified Internal Medicine
Dr. Aaron Cohen is a Board Certified Physician in Internal Medicine. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Yeshiva University in New York City, and went on to earn his Medical Degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He then completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Residency training at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. Dr. Cohen practices comprehensive primary care, with a focus on prevention and health maintenance. He also currently serves as a Community Preceptor with the University of Miami Miller School Of Medicine.
Nicolle Melendez, PA-C | Board Certified Physician Assistant
Nicolle Melendez, PA-C is a certified physician assistant. She grew up in South Florida and attended Florida Atlantic University where she graduated with Bachelor's degree in Biology. She went on to attend the Barry University Physician Assistant Program where she earned her Master's Degree in Clinical Medical Science. She serves as an adjunct professor at Palm Beach State University in the anatomy and physiology department and as a preceptor for South University. Prior to joining the team at Florida Healthcare Associates, Nicolle worked in clinical research and urgent care medicine. In her spare time she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two sons. She is accepting new patients at the Jog Road location.
